care, light housekeeping, medication reminders, shopping, meal preparation, and laundry. This program is designed to help individuals maintain their independence while receiving the care they need in their own homes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To qualify for the GAFC Program, clients must be MassHealth recipients, 22 years of age or older, have a medical diagnosis, require daily <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrocarema.com\/es\/services\/financial-assistance\/\">assistance<\/a> with personal care, and have approval from their physician.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once eligibility is confirmed, MetroCare will provide clients with a qualified caregiver that best fits their needs.
